It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!!
ThinkWay Toys, most known for their amazing work on the various Toy Story toys throughout the years, has announced that they have signed on as the master global toy licensee for Illumination Entertainment and Universal’s sequel to the widely popular Despicable Me.
The first did not have much merchandising support, as the characters were not well known. That all changed after the first film grossed more than $543 million globally, the 10th highest grossing animated film in US history, and Gru & Co. Warmed the hearts of everyone.
“Our team is ecstatic to create an all new line of toys for Despicable Me 2. The characters are endearing, filled with humor and adventure and we can’t wait to include these elements into the toy line,” said Albert Chan, CEO of Thinkway.
The toys will be on shelves in Summer 2013, just in time for the movie to hit theaters!
